Exact workflow

Meeting Bridge is not an AI. It is a macOS audio router between a meeting app and a voice AI app you provide.

Product state: pre-release validation

What you need

  • A Mac on macOS 14.2 or later and headphones
  • A meeting app such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams
  • A voice AI app such as ChatGPT Voice or Codex
  • Participant and organization permission to share meeting audio with AI

For each meeting

  1. Open the meeting app and voice AI
  2. Choose the meeting under Audio for AI
  3. Choose the voice AI under AI for meeting
  4. Select Viyv Meeting Mic as the AI microphone
  5. Select Viyv Meeting Send as the meeting microphone
  6. Confirm participant and organization permission, then start
  7. Press Share next AI reply only when one reply should reach the meeting
  8. Stop at the end to remove temporary routes and restore input settings

Normal state and one-shot

After start, the AI can hear the meeting but its reply remains on the normal Mac output. AI audio to participants is OFF. Share next AI reply only arms the next AI utterance, opens only when audio begins, and returns to OFF after silence or the maximum duration.

Continuous transmission is separated into an advanced menu and remains on until manually stopped. One-shot is the recommended default. Kill closes AI audio immediately without dropping the physical microphone route.

Two virtual microphones

  • Viyv Meeting Mic: selected by the AI; carries meeting audio and an optional physical mic
  • Viyv Meeting Send: selected by the meeting; carries permitted AI audio and an optional physical mic
  • Normal AI output stays on the physical Mac output; no Viyv device becomes system output

Local MCP (advanced)

MCP is optional. For automation, launch the same app binary with --mcp. Transport is stdio, with no HTTP URL, API token, LAN port, or cloud registration.

Compatibility status

Zoom, Meet, Teams, ChatGPT Voice, and Codex are intended scenarios, but real-counterparty E2E remains a pre-release gate. Only validated combinations will be listed as verified.

Pre-release limitation

The DMG remains unavailable until signing, notarization, fresh-Mac Gatekeeper, driver install/update/uninstall, and real Zoom/Meet/Teams tests pass.
